Continuous Glucose Monitoring System (CGMS): This modern technology tracks glucose levels in blood every few minutes continuously with the help of small sensor. CGMS helps to understand trends of changes in blood glucose levels throughout day and night. Information gained with CGMS helps to plan customized treatment for every patient. CGMS is very simple and convenient to use at home. It does not interfere with daily activities. CGMS is particularly useful for those people with diabetes, who are experiencing wide fluctuations in their glucose levels or are at very high risk of hypoglycemia.
Insulin pump:Insulin pump delivers insulin into our blood continuously without any need of injections and it works as artificial pancreas.
