Rela Institute and Medical Centre’s Neonatology Department in Chennai has two separate units that make the department. These are:

Neonatal Intensive care (NICU) is situated in second floor,close to Labour ward/operation theatre. Our team consist of experienced consultants, associate consultant,and neonatal fellows and available round the clock to care extreme preterm and sick babies. Neonatal life-threatening congenital anomaly will be taken care by our surgical team including Paediatric surgery and Cardiothoracic team. We provide neonatal transport for safe transfer of sick babies. We take care all high risk mother and foetus, conduct detailed study and consult with foetal medicine specialist, antenatal counselling done for all high risk pregnancy.
