Dr. Rahul Bhargava is a leading Indian Haematologist and Haemato
Oncologist with many firsts to his credit. He was the first Indian doctor to Successfully perform Stem Cell Transplant in Multiple Sclerosis in 2014 and put the procedure on the map of Indian medical practices. He is also the first Indian doctor to have successfully used Stem Cell Transplant for treating Systemic Sclerosis. A path breaking anemia clinic for the integrated treatment of anemia related disorders was conducted under his leadership at FMRI. Credited with having established 14 low cost BMT centers pan India and excellent outcomes, his outreach has had significant impact in training medical practitioners at the grassroots level and serving society, especially the economically underprivileged.
Dr. Bhargava and his highly skilled team have performed over 1200+ BMT procedures both nationally as well as internationally, establishing them as one of the largest and most successful teams for Stem Cell Transplant, both Adult as well as Paediatric. His empathetic, patient centric approach, use of cutting-edge technology and vision of a holistic and integrated treatment have found support in the ethos at FMRI and led to excellent outcomes that have firmly established his reputation as a leader in his field.

2005-2006-served as a senior resident in the department of hematology and stem cell transplant at CMC, Vellore.
2006-2009 AllMS DM graduate, New delhi • 2011-2013-established first stem cell transplant center at Medanta the Medicity. Gurgaon and in a short span of 2 years completed 100 transplants.
2013-2016 he joined Artemis as Head of Haematology and did the first haploidentical transplant in Gurgaon.
2016-2021 he joined Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram as Director & HOD- Hematology, Hemato Oncology & BMT
2021 to present Principal Director & HOD-Hematology, Hemato Oncology & BMT at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurugram.
2021 to present Director Hematology, Hemato Oncology & BMT at Fortis Hospital, Noida.
2021 to present Adjunct Professor, ESIC Hospital, Faridabad.
