Dr. Avi Shah is a well-trained, patient-centric, and highly skilled pediatric orthopedic surgeon.
Dr. Shah with his over 8 years of experience brings positivity along with his surgical skills and competence to the delivery of care to his patients. He is thorough, meticulous and has a compassionate approach.
He completed his UG from KIMS, Bangalore and PG from SDUMC, Kolar with a gold medal in orthopedics. He learnt the art and science of pediatric orthopedics from BJ Wadia Children’s Hospital Mumbai and went on for further professional training with Fellowships in Pediatric sports from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital USA.
He has trained in Child and Adolescent Hip Preservation and Arthroscopy along with complex Limb Reconstruction from Sheffield Children’s Hospital (UK).
He is the Co-Director of CHIPS (Children’s Hip Preservation Services) and the Director of CURE Clubfoot clinic at SRCC Children’s Hospital. He is an active member of multiple orthopedic societies including Pediatric Orthopedic Society of India, Bombay Orthopedic Society, SICOT.
He has a keen interest in teaching and research and has many national and international presentations and publications in his field.
