After completing MBBS from King Georges Medical College, Lucknow University in 1989, he pursued MD in Medicine from Sanjay Gandhi Int. of Medical Sciences in 1993 followed by DM in Cardiology from Sanjay Gandhi Int. of Medical Sciences in 1995.
He is an active member of the European Society of Cardiology (FESC), American College Of Cardiology (FACC), and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
