He bagged the Vishisht Seva Medal, Chief of Army Staff commendation, Captain Foundation National Award, and was appointed as the honorary surgeon to the President of India
CS Narayana has mastery in handling Seizure disorders Stroke. Multiple sclerosis, Infections of the nervous system, and spinal cord disorders.

CS Narayana received his MBBS and MD (Medicine) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Post which he secured his DM (Neurology) from All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences.

He was Appointed as Honorary Surgeon to the President of India on 25th Jul 2017
